Andrew is a composer, teacher, performer and improviser currently based in Bristol, UK.
He dabbles in writing music for media and also performs under the moniker SALTINGS, an experimental electronic project where he either plays solo, or collaborates with fellow instrumentalists to create soundscapes that range from minimal ambience to extreme noise. Andrew is also a member of various groups including noizubito , The Evening Watch and BeDraggle, has guested with Domestic Sound Cupboard (DSC) and The Harry Furniss Ensemble and played at various esteemed festivals such as Supernormal, Skronkfest, Wakizashi and Hard Working Class Heroes.
His media work includes music for theatrical productions, most recently Mechanimal's Vigil at the Edinburgh Fringe (2019), adverts, and numerous short films, and he has also worked as a sound design artist and studio technician for other projects including podcasts for The Guardian.
Andrew is a founding member and co-organiser of The Bristol Hum, a mini-festival showcasing experimental and improvised music. Previously held at The Edwardian Cloakroom (2016) and The Surrey Vaults (2017), it has now been integrated into a series of monthly events at St. George's Bristol, called The Listening Room. These became regular from September 2019.
Andrew is also a co-founder (and tenor) of In Accord Choir, running since 2018. They have performed at the Bristol Museum for the opening of the Leonardo Da Vinci Drawings Exhibition, along with other public concerts and private events.
Andrew mostly plays piano when not processing others, having trained as a classical musician during his formative years, but also is versed in clarinet, bass guitar and organ along with dabbling in many other instruments in his collection. He holds a Bachelor in Music (honours) from Trinity College Dublin and a Masters in Composition for Film and Television (distinction) from the University of Bristol, and is currently studying psychotherapy. His compositions have been performed by the National Chamber Choir of Ireland, Trinity College Orchestra and The Gaudete Singers amongst others, and he has featured on Resonance FM and Radiophrenia.

Andrew's music and ethos is inspired by a lifetime immersed in all genres of music, whether it be through employment, gigs or performance. He strives to create something purely original with every project, and is always seeking to work with unique like-minded performers or fellow media artists.
